Old Enough For Chores

Now that Maddy has turned 6, we have tried to push back on her a little bit to become more independent. She finally has a chore at home (yes, only one, but baby steps...) - her job is to make sure Tucker has food and water.

Although she doesn't monitor the food dishes at all, she doesn't complain when we tell her that his dish is empty. She just stops what she's doing, fills them up and then continues on her way.

Not sure that she's ready for an allowance yet, but it's a step in the right direction.
